Manager, Business Development
Position Summary:
Manager, Business Development will be responsible for: prospecting start-ups to Fortune 100 enterprises, identifying key decision makers in those organizations and presenting isearch's service offerings. The objective will be to secure face-to-face meetings with Directors/VP's of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or other senior level executives who have influence over the selection of outsourced recruitment partners.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Qualify, prospect and engage small, mid-size and Fortune 100 organizations with the objective of introducing them to isearch's niche retained research/executive search services
- Market to clients via telephone as well as conduct in-person meetings with key managers and senior-level executives
- Responsible for solidifying isearch's presence in the local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events
- Strategize with teammates and manager to accomplish weekly business growth goals
Success Patterns:
- BA/BS degree required
- 1-3 years of sales/business development experience
- Experience selling to HR executives preferred
- Business acumen/high-level of interest in learning about different areas of business
- Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated problem solving abilities and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong research skills
- Project oriented, analytical
- Solution driven
- Very comfortable and excited about doing business over the phone
- Excited by the idea of doing business with senior executives at Fortune 100 companies
- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to think outside of the box. Must be creative, resourceful, and able to execute
- Entrepreneurial and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform under limited supervision and direction
